On 20 November 2013 a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Research on the Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) was signed between the National Research Council of Italy’s Institute for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage (CNR-ICVBC) and WHITRAP. The objective was the implementation of the UNESCO’s HUL approach through joint research activities, the sharing of expertise and the dissemination of best practices (Agreement.doc).
